- After losing 50 pounds over 25 years ago and successfully keeping it off, I wanted to involve myself in the industry to help others establish and maintain a dedication to healthy living.
I have been involved in the industry since the late 70's and started my own personal training business in 1992.
Since that date I have opened up Reality Fitness, Inc. a personal training studio in Naperville, IL which has been in operation since 1998 ,(I started with in-home prior to opening my studio). I have 8 trainers that work for me and my studio is a private one-on-one setting.
In addition to running my studio, I am the author of Reality Fitness; Inspiration for Your Health and Well-being, I am the health and fitness columnist for Chicago Suburban newspapers, Naperville Magazine. I am a contributing author to ACSM's (2nd Edition) Resources for the Personal Trainer. I also contribute to numerous magazines and industry magazines.
I also lecture all over the country teaching trainers how to operate a successful personal training studio.
I was the 2006 IDEA finalist for Personal Trainer of the Year and the Small Business Award Winner for Service by our area Chamber of Commerce.
I continue to reach out to those struggling with healthy living and offer a unique training style with each and every client.
Motivating others to wellness is my purpose and my passion!
